Avoidance-Roll:

The caster must make a successful Avoidance-Roll vs. "Intelligence". If this Avoidance-Roll is failed, this spell must be cast again (the caster will permanently lose 2 spell-points whether this avoidance-roll is successful or not.

10 minute (120 turns).

 

Note:

If the caster is physically disturbed during the casting, this spell will fail if the caster fails an avoidance-roll vs. "Mental-Attack".

When this spell is cast the Psychic must kneel and begin meditating. He or she cannot stop meditating for the entire "Casting Time:".

 

After the casting time, the caster will simple rise and go about his or her daily activities, for the familiar called will come within no set time period (familiar will come in 1-D12 days). When the familiar comes, roll on the following chart to see what it will be:

The target of this spell will forget a single conscious thought for 1 hour (720 turns) (+1 hour per 3 levels the Psychic has advanced.

This spell will cause the targeted creature to forget a single notion, thought, idea, etc., but it must be an idea that is formost in the target's mind (i.e., attack, retreat, talk to another, go home, challenge another, etc.).

The Psychic must also be able to see, or clearly percieve the presense of the target.

Sight of caster: The caster must be able to clearly identify the target (not guess as to who it is, or what the creature is). If the caster can do this, the target will be in range.

 

Mental detection of the caster: If the caster can clearly discern the thought patterns of the person or creature - enough to positively identify the target - the target is within range.

If the caster attempts to guess at the target's identity and is correct, this spell will work as normal. If the cast guesses wrong, the spell will rebound back onto the caster. If this happens, the caster must pit his or her Mental-Strength against him or herself (single roll check). When this spell is cast, 6 orbs of light, about the size of the caster's thumb, will issue forth from the caster's head. These orbs of light will orbit the Psychic's head until he or she wills 1 or more to strike a target within range.

 

To strike a target, the Psychic must roll to attack, as if shooting with a bow (+30 to strike). Up to 3 orbs can be hurled at a target per turn.

 

The orbs can be controlled to hover, move in a straight line, encircle, etc. The Psychic does not have to actually strike a target.

The thought impressed into the mind of the target can be no more than 3 words, and cannot be hostile in any way.

 

If the target fails his or her "Avoidance-Roll", he or she will feel as though it was his or her own idea.

The target of this spell may not fulfill the caster's suggestion if it is against his or her align, or dangerous.
